Belize:  With miles of lush tropical rain forest, a
gorgeous Caribbean coastline and the longest barrier
reef in the Western Hemisphere, it doesn't take long to
realize why Belize City is known as "The Jewel."
Located between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize
possesses a unique combination of modernity and
rustic Caribbean charm. Ancient ruins indicate that
Belize was first inhabited by the Mayans in 900 A.D.
This Indian heritage, combined with a rich European
history, creates a destination full of charm and wonder
for all to discover.
Colon, Panama:  Located in the city of
Colón, Panama, Cristobal Pier is best known as a
stop on the Panama Canal. But it also offers
visitors a wide range of attractions, including
access to both the Caribbean Sea and the
Pacific Ocean. In fact, it is one of the few places
where you could actually go swimming in both
bodies of water in the same day. Colón was
established in 1850 by Americans building the
Transcontinental Railroad. Today it serves as a
popular stopping point for people using the
modern successor to that important link between
oceans
Limon, Costa Rica:
Columbus discovered this land on
his fourth voyage to the Americas
and was so impressed that he
named it Costa Rica, or the rich
coast. Puerto Limón is
overflowing with natural wonders -
towering mountains once thought
to house gold and silver,
magnificent rain forests
containing more than 2,000
varieties of orchids, and of
course, seductive, sun-drenched
beaches.
