Q:  What will the weather be like in
Alaska in the month of September?
A:  Late Summer in Alaska is the early start of the Fall Season, and
temperatures range in the upper 50's to low 60's most of the time.
Nighttime lows can go into the 40's or 30's.  It's best to pack a variety of
clothing, such as long pants, long and short sleeve shirts, a light jacket and
a heavy sweater.  Also make sure you bring along hiking / insulated boots.

Q:  What is there to do in Alaska?
A: People who have been to Alaska would probably respond to this, "What
is there NOT to do in Alaska?!"  There are an abundance of tours and
excursions at each and every stop on the itinerary.  You can "flightsee" via
private aerial charter, you can fish for halibut or salmon, take a historical
tour into the city and see authentic memorabilia from the Gold Rush of the
1800's, go whale-sighting or bear-sighting, hike on or climb UP a glacier,
take a scenic train ride through snow-capped mountains, and the list goes
on.  A great website to visit is www.travelalaska.com, where you can get
even more ideas.

Q:  Isn't it dangerous to sail in these icy
waters?  Could we hit an "iceberg"?
A:  This may sound like a line out of "Titanic" but it is a real fear of people
who want to go on an Alaskan cruise!!  The cruise ships of today are built
far more advanced than the 1912 Titanic.  The navigational systems are
state-of-the-art, and what's more, the itineraries never include dangerous
fjords or passages.   The captains of these large vessels respect Nature,
and you will find that they never get too close to some of the glaciers (or
"icebergs").  So rest assured:  your cruise will be smooth sailing!!!

Q:  How much are the tours offered?
The tours in Alaska are designed for every budget.  You have simple
city-based tours that start at $25 - $30 per person, and then they go UP
from there, depending on the level of your adventure!  There are some
dog-sledding tours that include a helicopter tour that can go for $300 or
$400 per person!  The most popular tour that everyone will probably want
to do is going to be the White Pass and Yukon Railroad in Skagway.  It's
"not to be missed".  That tour goes for about $100 or so per person.
Remember that prices are subject to change.

Q:  Is Airfare included in the price?  How
much will it cost me?
Airfare is not included in your cruise rate.  We chose an itinerary out of
Seattle, because we feel it is the least expensive port to get to as far as an
Alaska cruise goes.   With airlines like Southwest and Jet Blue offering many
non-stop flights into Seattle, you can expect to pay on the average about
$300 for your airfare from the East Coast, and less than $200 for airfare
from the West Coast.  If there are 10 or more people flying from one city,
WeeBee Travel will offer a group rate.

Q:  Will there be chaperones at this event?
Yes, every one of our events are coordinated and chaperoned by mature
Christians.  We make these ones known to the group prior to sailing, so
that if there are any problems during your trip, you know who is in charge,
and can report any problems to such ones.
