Getaways with a visit to the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS

Our Getaway takes place at the Black Bear Falls Resort, a
beautiful Cabin Resort located just five minutes away from all
there is to offer in Gatlinburg. At the Resort, we will spend the
week in Luxury Cabins, perched high in the mountains to
offer spectacular views. You can have all the comforts of home
in one of the prettiest places on Earth.

Our Getaway takes place at the Black Bear Falls Resort, a
beautiful Cabin Resort located just five minutes away from all
there is to offer in Gatlinburg. At the Resort, we will spend the
week in Luxury Cabins, perched high in the mountains to
offer spectacular views. You can have all the comforts of home
in one of the prettiest places on Earth.
| The Great Smoky Mountains - the most visited National Park in the United States, home to countless lakes, rivers, streams and wildlife including the Black Bear - is our destination for the first of our ANNUAL FAMILY GETAWAYS in 2010! We chose this destination because the Smokies have something to offer everyone, whether you are a nature lover, a hiker, an outdoors lover, or just looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The Smokies offer hundreds of various hiking trails, for those experienced and for those not experienced. There are whitewater rafting excursions if you're up for the challenge, and even floating excursions if you're not! What about wildlife? Do you want to see a Black Bear up close? The Smokies offer experienced nature guides and wildlife tours that will bring you upclose to some of the park's most famous residents. If you want to go on horseback, that's available too. But if the great outdors and adventure are NOT your thing..... then you will love the city of GATLINBURG, TN. Gatlinburg has become the most famous destination in all of Tennessee. Here you can take in the attractions at Ripley's Believe it or Not, including their famous museum, the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, or the Ripley's Moving Theater. Do you want to visit a theme park? Head over to nearby Dollywood, and Dollywood Splash Mountain, for both thrill rides and water rides. Take the Sky Tram over the mountains, or do a Zip Line excursion. Lay out under the millions of stars, and try to spot a shooting star. Visit a local congregation and meet other Friends who live in this picturesque area. Take in some delicious food at tons of restaurants, go shopping at the many quaint shops and malls in the area (including nearby Pigeon Forge), or just relax in your luxury mountain cabin and do nothing at all. That's right - CABINS!!!! Truly typical of the traditional mountain log cabins, but with every luxury amenity added on for your pleasure and enjoyment, our vacation in Gatlinburg begins with our beautiful Cabins. Offering beautiful views of the Smokies, these Cabins will be our home away from home. Each cabin offers spacious accommodations, in-suite bathrooms, a game room, an outdoor private jacuzzi, TV's in each room, and a full kitchen. As a bonus, as part of the Black Bear Falls Resort community, you have access to their resort clubhouse, which features an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. In addition, all resort guests get access to the nearby Gatlinburg Community Center, which features an indoor pool, a fitness center, a bowling alley, and much more! Above it All is a 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom luxury cabin with
3 full suites, each with its own bathroom. All three bedrooms
are Master Suites two with King Size beds and one with a
Queen Size bed. The home comes with a outdoor jacuzzi
hot tub that sits on an extended deck with a picnic table and
gas grill for a perfect summer afternoon right in your own
backyard. The full kitchen has all major appliances and
utensils needed for your convenience, and there is also a
washer and dryer available. If you want to warm up one
summer night there are gas fireplaces in the home as well.
Wireless internet access is available if you are bringing a
laptop. Towels & linens are provided as well.
