| All Remaining 2007 Trips to Be Announced in the Coming Month!! We want to thank you all for your great suggestions via our 2007 TRIP SURVEY! Although our trips for next year are still not "finalized", we have been literally BOMBARDED with ideas for the Friends! It seems every year the destinations become more and more exotic. While we would love to plan trips to some of the Exotic destinations that were suggested (for example, we had a request for Dubai, several for Japan, and still more for Australia!), we also try to plan trips with realistic rates and vacations that appeal to everyone, including elderly ones, those on strict budgets, and families with children! So, that having been said, I can tell you for now, that THUS FAR we are planning to visit the following locations in 2007: Europe (Italy, France, Spain and Croatia) via our 12 Day Mediterranean Cruise..... Bermuda, via 5 day Cruise from New Jersey...... Hawaii, via 7 day Cruise from Honolulu...... Palm Springs for a 4 night Tranquil Spa Retreat..... and of course the ever popular, and STILL REQUESTED "Orlando Getaway" for it's 6th straight year (and a later date!) And as if FIVE trips weren't enough.... there is also a possibility of seeing Brazil next year as well. Let's also not forget our smaller "WeeBee Events". Some great suggestions were made for Martha's Vineyard, Maryland Crabfest, Niagara Falls, and the like. We will consider all of these suggestions, and announce these at a later date. So again, nothing is 100% finalized yet, and we are still fact-finding, and researching, but... as we finalize each trip, we will announce each one individually in E-Mail. The Year 2007 is going to bring us further around the world than we've EVER been, and we are soooo looking forward to spending the year with you dear friends, if it is Jehovah's will!!! So.... Stay tuned, get those Passports ready, and watch those e-mails!! And as always, Happy travels.... |
2007 Trip Brochure I am currently taking requests for our 2007 Trip Brochure that will be published in the Fall. For those that are new to our mailing list since last year, we not only publish our trips on our website, but we also put out paper flyers every year for our trips, or a Brochure, like we did last year. This year will be no different! Supplies are limited, and we will honor brochure requests on a first come, first serve basis!! The brochure will also be made available in . pdf format, as well. NOTE: Even if you have received a brochure in the past, you must still request a brochure for 2007!! Only our past travelers will automatically receive a copy of the Brochure. The Brochure will be printed and distributed in the Fall of 2007. CLICK HERE TO REQUEST OUR 2007 TRIP BROCHURE!!! |

Travel News Marriott to Become "Smoke Free"!! Marriott has announced that by September of this year, all of its 2800+ locations in the US and Canada will become Smoke Free! Hopefully in a move that will influence other large hotel chains to follow suit, Marriott has announced that all of its locations in the USA and Canada will no longer allow smoking accommodations! The change affects all of the Marriott Brands, including Courtyard, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, Renaissance, Ritz Carlton and regular Marriott hotels. Let's hope this becomes a trend!!! |
The "Dog Days" of Summer 2006 This past Summer must have been the hottest on Record! With places like FARGO and SIOUX FALLS reaching temperatures above 100 degrees, it's no wonder why people are calling this the "worst" and "hottest" summer ever! New Yorkers baked in 100+ degrees for days on end, California suffered in abnormally high temperatures, and let's not even talk about the Midwest and the South! We ALL felt the effects of this abnormal heat. What worries forecasters the most is the effect that this global heat will have on weather systems like HURRICANES! So far, we've only had about 2 or 3 named storms this Hurricane season, and they have managed to amount to just rainy weather.... but the real threat still lies ahead! To those of you in coastal areas, especially those who felt the brunt of Katrina, Wilma and Rita last year, I say.... BE CAREFUL! And be PREPARED most of all. And brothers, please continue to pray for those who have been affected by last year's hurricanes. The rebuilding work continues....... right into the new Hurricane Season. |
