Announcing New 2005 Cruise to Central
America!

We've added a new trip for 2005, and this one is sure to be a real
treat... we will sail for 9 days and 8 nights to the Exotic Caribbean,
visiting Belize, Costa Rica and Panama!  These ports of call are
traditionally included in longer, 16 day Panama Canal voyages, but
Carnival has commissioned the beautiful vessel, the CARNIVAL
LEGEND, to sail to these beautiful locations in just a short 8 day
period.  Sailing round-trip from Ft. Lauderdale / Port Everglades,
this trip is as low as $716 per person for an Inside cabin (double)
and $591 per person on a quad inside (all port charges and taxes

    Experience of the Month

    This month, we don't have an experience, so
    much as a great story, published in a local
    newspaper.  In the "spirit" of Super Bowl
    mania about to hit the country on Sunday
    2/6, we have the story of a Philadelphia
    Eagles team member who happens to be
    one of our brothers. I thought it was very
    appropriate for this month's newsletter!.

Tsunamis Devastate Southeast Asia -
Nearly 150,000 Dead

This is the saddest news since 9/11... On the morning of December
26th, an earthquake measuring 9.0 struck in the Indian Ocean near
the Indonesian nation of Sumatra, triggering a massive tsunami that
made landfall in over 12 nations, leaving death and destruction in
its path.  At the time of this newsletter, about 150,000 are reported
dead and more missing.  The report on our brothers as of now
seems to stand at 2 dead, and some who were missing are now
accounted for.  Many nations are helping in the relief effort; we can
do our part by sending the Society contributions as well.
Please keep the brothers and others in these devastated lands in
your prayers, as they have suffered great loss.

Getaway, Dec. 2-8, 2004

We had such a great time in Dominican Republic!  From the great
food, to the great music; from our trip to Bethel to our trip to the
waterfalls; from relaxing by the pool to sipping tropical drinks; from
the beautiful people to the beautiful mountains.... it was fantastic.  
An experience we will not soon forget.  We all became so close too,
