Goodbye Hurricane Season! Hello Winter!! What an unbelievable year! Over 23 named storms in one season! That was unheard of... and our dear friends in the Southern and Southeastern parts of the USA have really endured the worst of the worst. Hurricane Wilma dealt a blow to Miami and South Florida last week, not to mention Hurricane Rita in Texas and of course the worst of them all, Hurricane Katrina which leveled the Gulf Coast. Thankfully the threats are nearly OVER. The waters will start to cool, and now WINTER will be here! Winter is a great time of year, not just because of the pretty snowfalls and long vacations from school, but also because it's the time where most Americans (and really from around the world) start planning their vacations for the following year. Many people are required to advise their employers about their vacation time by January. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL IN FLORIDA! CENTRAL AMERICA HERE WE COME!!! A laska Cruise - September 1-8, 2006 DEADLINE FOR DEPOSITS EXTENDED AGAIN UNTIL DECEMBER 1ST! Payment plans are available for as low as $99 per month!!! 5th Annual Orlando Getaway - June 3-10, 2006 We've got about TWO HOUSES booked already for our 5th Annual Getaway. THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS OFFICIALLY PUSHED BACK THE DEADLINE FOR PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS TO DECEMBER 31, 2006! This means you are NOT required to have a passport to travel to the Caribbean in 2006!! You can still travel with a birth certificate and photo I.D. However, we still strongly recommend that you obtain one, just because it's safer, and less cumbersome! So, to help assist our friends and customers with the application process, we've uploaded the current US Passport Application onto our website. Simply print off and complete, and you can take it to a local post office, along with your photos and fees, as outlined in the application.
New Addition to the WeeBee Family I am sad to announce that Candace Crist is no longer with WeeBee Travel. Although she has left our company she has started a new chapter in her life, and was recently married to a faithful brother in her hometown congregation of Gardnerville, NV. We wish her and her new husband Rick Kelly the best. On a lighter note, I am so very happy to announce a NEW ADDITION to our family, Sis. Loretta Smith, who has been traveling with us now for a few years. She comes to us as a Group Travel Specialist, handling most of our Group requests, as well as working side by side with me on our established Group Trips. She has an extensive background in Travel and Group Coordination, she is a real pro and a very sweet individual.
