Vol. 3
September 2005
WeeBee Travel Announces THREE NEW
Group Trips for 2006!!!!

In the past 4 weeks, we've announced a total of THREE New
Group Trips for 2006!  In case you have not heard the news,
we are planning visits to
ALASKA (September 1-8, Vision of
the Seas 7 Night Cruise),
CANCUN (November 15-20,
All-Inclusive Gran Costa Real Resort), and
ORLANDO (June
3-10, 5th Annual Orlando Getaway).  There is
at LEAST one
more
group trip planned for 2006, but this will be revealed in
the coming month.  Unfortunately, plans were halted on our
summer
Disney Cruise (which would have been trip #4,
scheduled for August 27-31); however in light of the recent
disaster in the Gulf Coast, it has become painfully clear that
planning cruises during the
height of the Hurricane Season
(July - September) is just too risky.  Katrina taught us all a
lesson (see article in this month's newsleter below regarding
Katrina, entitled:
Hurricane Katrina Brings Catastrophe to
the Gulf Coast
).  So stay tuned for more information on our
2006 Trips!

    Paper Brochure and
    "E-Brochure"
    Mailing List

We are requesting 500 copies of our
color brochure be made for our
    upcoming mail distribution, which
should happen by end of this month.
We have currently 400+ addresses on
our mailing list, and the requests keep
pouring in!   We want to thank you for
your interest in our trips, and will
    attempt to accommodate every request
for the printed brochure while supplies
last!  In the meantime, you can also be
put on our "E-Brochure" list, which is
basically a .pdf version of the brochure,
one that you can just print out at home
or work on your color printer.  The .pdf
version will be available in less than 2
weeks.  If you would like the .pdf
brochure INSTEAD of a paper / mailed
    version, just e-mail me at
    esmee@weebeetravel.com, and I'll send
you one in 2 weeks, after we've
finalized our last group trip for the year.

    Travel News

    GREAT NEWS!!!!   THE U.S.
    GOVERNMENT HAS OFFICIALLY
    PUSHED BACK THE DEADLINE FOR
    PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS TO
DECEMBER 31, 2006!  This means you
are NOT required to have a passport to
travel to the Caribbean in 2006!!  You
can still travel with a birth certificate and
photo I.D.  However, we still strongly
recommend that you obtain one, just
    because it's safer, and less
cumbersome!   So, to help assist our
    friends and customers with the
    application process, we've uploaded the
    current US US Passport Application
onto our website.  Simply print off and
complete, and you can take it to a local
post office, along with your photos and
fees, as outlined in the application.
Hurricane Katrina Brings Catastrophe to
the Gulf Coast

It wasn't even a year ago that we reported the devastation that was
encountered by so many countries in Southeast Asia when a record
Tsunami hit and killed hundreds of thousands.  And yet, here we are,
experiencing another huge devastaion right here in the United States.
In fact, not far from where we are located here in Memphis, the city
of New Orleans currently sits under  many feet of water.  There is no
drinking water, electricity or food to be had.   There is no way to
communicate with loved ones on the outside because the
communications systems are down.   And it's not just New Orleans:
it's Biloxi, MS, Gulfport, MS and Mobile AL, not to mention other parts
along the Gulf Coast.  Not since Hurricane Camille in 1969 has the
South witnessed such destruction on such a massive scale.  Truly this
will go down in the history books as one of the worst natural disasters
on record!   PLEASE PRAY for our Brothers and Sisters who are now
homeless, jobless and trying to piece their lives back together.

.None to Report at this time.
    SPECIAL ALERT FOR
    ANYONE BOOKED ON
    CARNIVAL:
Carnival has deployed THREE of their
    Fantasy-class oceanliners to assist with
    housing those survivors of Hurricane
Katrina:  the Ecstasy, the Sensation and
the Holiday will all operate as "floating
shelters" for the next 6 months, as part
of the FEMA initiative to assist those who
are now homeless due to last week's
    storm.  The Conquest has been
    indefinitely moved to Galveston TX,
where the Ecstasy and Sensation will
operate from.  The Holiday will continue
to go out of Mobile, AL.
HAPPY TRAVELS!
