Male Only Travel Poll

We had close to 50 responses on our poll from brothers ranging in age from 24
to 63 years old. Responses came from brothers from all over the place: New
York, Indiana, California, Australia and New Zealand. Obviously the brothers
have something to say!!!

The results of our poll have proved one thing: BROTHERS LOVE TO TRAVEL,
AND THEY WANT TO TRAVEL!! One of the biggest obstacles reported was
finding a roommate. Lots of comments were received, everything from
having a hard time finding others to go along on trips, to not having the time
off from work, to having many theocratic responsibilities which take
precedence.

All in all we want to tell our brothers that we appreciate your comments, and
look forward to welcoming you on future trips.

Results: 65% claimed that they can afford to devote
8 days or more (2 weeks +)
26% can only devote 4-7 days (1 week)
9% can only devote 0-3 days (weekend travel only)

Question 7 - How much would you budget for a quality vacation?
Results 49% would budget $1,000 or more (Deluxe)
40% would budget $600 - $1000 (Moderate)
11% would budget less than $600 (Value)

Question 8 - What do you do with flyers for trips (either from WeeBee

Results: 47% say that they READ and FORWARD
to their mailing list
33% say that they try to FIND SOMEONE TO ROOM WITH
14% say they IGNORE or DO NOTHING

Question 9 - What will most influence your decision to travel in the future?
Results: 26% say having a ROOMMATE and/or knowing the
CENSUS OF PEOPLE ATTENDING will be the deciding factor.
23% claim OTHER FACTORS (i.e., theocratic, all of the above, etc.)
21% claim that PRICE will be the deciding factor
19% claim the ITINERARY / DESTINATION is the deciding factor
11% claim that TIME OFF / TIME OF YEAR will be the deciding factor.

Results: 56% say they are 100% likely to travel in 2006
26% say they are 75% likely to travel
16% say they are 50% likely to travel
